Designed by Lyle Hess, this is believed to be the last Fatty Knees built by Eddy and Duff of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. As a rowing dinghy, she tracks extremely well and rigged to sail, she is weatherly, fast and simple to sail. This hard-to-find nine foot model includes nearly all of the options offered by the boat builder at the time, including:

  • 7-foot oars with leather
  • Lifting Eyes for Hoisting
  • Drain with screw-in plug
  • Teak Outboard Pad
  • Gear Bags for the Sail, Rudder, and Center Board
  • Boat Cover
  • Teak Floorboards

Purchased new for $5,825 in November of 2009, she has been garage kept from day one. There is no trailer - she fits in the bed of a pickup truck. Will deliver at no additional charge within 100 miles of Charleston, SC. She is a beautiful little boat and, given the proper care, will last a lifetime.
